Meet the team

Alison has been with FPS Group for almost ten years.  She originally joined as part of the back office team and then after two years moved into a customer services role. Prior to joining us, she attended York College of Arts and Technology and then started her working life with jobs in  tourism and advertising.

Alison says, "I have a passion for providing the highest level of service to people.  I love working in my current role because I have regular interaction with individuals from across our client base, and it always makes my day to hear someone say, 'Job well done!'

Clare joined FPS Group almost five years ago straight from college and since that time, she's enjoyed a varied career.  She's held positions in both our expenses and payroll sections and spent some time in the front lines in our call centre.  In 2009 she was promoted to the role of  senior administrator within the invoicing and identifying section, and it was not long before she was made team leader.

Claire says, "It's a joy to come to work most days because I genuinely like my colleagues. We are a close knit-team and each day brings new and different challenges."

Catherine has been with FPS Group for more than three years and has worked across several teams including retention, payroll and invoicing.  Prior to joining us she held various sales roles at Bass Ireland, part of the international brewery group.

Catherine says, "What I enjoy about working at FPS Group the most is the people I get to meet.  I like helping people and that's exactly what I do every day in this job. Solving challenges, helping out and putting a smile on someone's face are all part of what makes mine a rewarding career."

Marita McElhinney heads up the client services team following a 10-year career with the Group in which she’s held various client service and operational roles.  

According to Marita, the great thing about working for FPS is that we lead the industry through constant innovation. Keeping ahead of the curve is challenging and interesting in equal measures.

Marita says that every client is different, but each wants a quality service. Every individual wants to know that we are listening and responding to provide a clear approach to meeting specific needs and circumstances.

Cathy has been part of the FPS Group team for ten years.  In that time, she's managed many teams including training and support, company services and expenses. Prior to joining management, she was both one of our senior contract negotiators and a technical analyst. 

Cathy's career includes many years working as an account manager within the maritime industry where she learned a thing or two about international compliance requirements.

She says, "My team aims to make the FPS journey a smooth one for all clients. We devote time to giving each and every client personal one-to-one contact during their first four payments to help assist or answer any questions that may arise.  We understand that Government regulations that we comply with can sometimes be frustrating for our clients, and part of our role is to make the process as painless and efficient as possible. We speak to our clients often to provide the support and assistance they deserve.  It gives us a real insight into the challenges people face so we can build upon our outstanding service.

When she's not at work Cathy loves to travel -- American road-trips in particular. So far she's visited 40 US states, and she hope to complete the tour of all 50 one day!

Matt Parsons is the Sales Manager at FPS Group.  He is an experienced and qualified recruitment professional, which gives him the ideal perspective on both the contracting market and the needs of recruiters and contractors alike.  Since joining FPS in 2009, Matt has inspired and motivated the sales team with his constant enthusiasm, exuberance and drive to succeed.  He is passionate about streamlining processes and improving efficiency in order to aid the customer experience.
