The life of an agency nurse is a varied one. On any given day the nurse could be involved in paediatric, oncology, surgery or any other aspect of health care they choose.

Of course there are risks, too.  Being self employed means agency nurses have no works pensions and annual leave often depends on the individual's ability to put away his own rainy day or holiday funds.
